About us

What started as a hobby quickly became a calling. After years as a software developer, Trapper Ron traded keyboards for critters, turning his love of the outdoors (and knack for telling a good story—sometimes with a little extra flourish) into a full-time career in wildlife control. Known for chatting with just about anyone, Ron brings honesty, humor, and a deep respect for the land to every job.

At home in Northport, Ron and his wife Kathy raise chickens, keep bees, and make maple syrup — because if he’s not trapping, he’s probably outdoors doing something else he loves.

Joining him in the business is his son, Ethan, who swapped the world of winemaking for the family trade. Though he’s been helping his dad since his teenage years, Ethan now brings his own skill and steady hand to the work, making this a true father-and-son team dedicated to helping neighbors protect their homes, businesses, and property from unwanted pests.
